Environmental, Health and Safety Consulting (EHS)
-- EHS consulting is about diagnosing the reason why we have a particular hazard. For example, explaining to the client why the retaining wall is leaning over or what is causing the basement to flood rather than simply stating the hazard. The diagnosis of the problem and reasons behind it is the "practice of engineeringing" in action. Sometimes testing results are not conclusive and we may need to collect more data. Other times testing is not required because the cause of a problem is obviuous. Solving problems in a cost effective manner is the key to this service.
-- Consulting services in the various areas of EHS provides the client with the information needed to make the right decision. I have experience in all of OSHA'a key compliance areas, such as, confined space, hazardous chemical communication, respiratory protection, lock-out tag-out, electrical safety, fall protection, and related compliance areas. Conducting compliance audits and inspections identifies hazards and provides the data needed to recomment control options to mitigate those hazards.
Health and Safety Training
-- OSHA approved trainer for 10 hour and 30 hour training. Once you complete the course, you will be issued an OSHA training card. Handouts shall be provided. Trainer will need a viewr and screen capable of being hooked up to laptop computer.
The training covers:
Introduction to OSHA, One-Two Hours
Walking and Working Surfaces, One Hour
Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Planning, Fire Protection, One-Two Hours
Electrical Safety, One-Two Hours
Materials Handling, One-Two Hours
Hazard Communication, One Hour
Hazardous Materials, One-Two Hours
Personal Protective Equipment, One Hour
Machine Guarding, One-Two Hours

Introduction to Industrial Hygienen One-Two Hours
Permit Required Confined Spaces, One-Two Hours
