Q:What Warranty do you offer on the radon system?
A: One year warranty, parts and labor but the fan is guarenteed by Fantech, Inc. for five years.
Q: What is the difference between 120 volt and low voltage Radon system?
A: The only advantage in low voltage is cost. The cost of an electrician is saved because in a low voltage system, an electrician is not needed to install the wiring. Instead, the fan uses a transformer to reduce the voltage down to around 24-30 volts. A simple 120V outlet is used to plug-in the transformer which usually goes inside the mech room and is about the size of a small loaf of bread (8” x 4” x 4”).
